
About: The Warrnambool Cup is the flagship event of the Warrnambool Greyhound Racing Club and one of 11 country cups held across Victoria each year. It is the fourth and final leg of greyhound racing’s Western Festival of Racing , which runs throughout Autumn and includes the Horsham Cup, Ballarat Cup & Geelong Cup.

HISTORY
This is the 51st running of the Warrnambool Cup, with the first winner being Tien Shan in 1972. Many outstanding greyhounds have won the event including Tempix (1980), Bomber Gleeson (1992), Kantarn Bale (2000 & 2002), El Galo (2008), Black Magic Opal (2014) and Dyna Patty (2019).
